This work was inspired by a unique bowl from the 14th-century Mamluk period, currently in the British Museum collection. Created by Çini Project artists on a 40 cm diameter, handled form, the work combines the aesthetic influences of history with the finesse of tile art.

The bowl's interior, faithful to the original work, is rendered with white floral ornamentation on a black background, reflecting the elegant balance and rhythm characteristic of tile decoration during the period. The exterior has been redesigned with an original design inspired by the patterns on bowls from the same period on display in the British Museum.

This work, created in harmony of rich cobalt blue, deep black, and elegant white, embodies both the elegance of the past and a contemporary artistic approach. Beyond being a decorative object, it aesthetically conveys a historical narrative into the present.
