This work represents the Sazyolu style, one of the most elegant expressions of Ottoman tile art, revitalized through a contemporary interpretation by Çini Project artists. The pattern applied to the 50x50 cm ceramic tile creates a strong connection between a historical craft and modern lines.
The Sazyolu style, shaped by Şahkulu in the 16th century and known for its curved lines, thin branches, leaves, and imaginary flowers intertwined with nature, is interpreted with elegant balance in this panel.
The artists added a unique spirit to the details without disrupting the classical form, which gave the work both a nostalgic and innovative identity.
