Cantagalli – İZNİK Desenli Vazo

19. yüzyıl Floransa’sında faaliyet gösteren Cantagalli Atölyesi’nin İznik çinilerinden ilhamla oluşturduğu desen dünyası, bu özel eserle yeniden yorumlanmıştır.

Orijinali bugün Ömer Koç Koleksiyonu’nda yer alan eser, Osmanlı çini sanatının Avrupa dekoratif sanatları üzerindeki etkisini gösteren önemli örneklerden biridir. Cantagalli Atölyesi, İznik çinisinin renk anlayışını, desen ritmini ve estetik gücünü Avrupa seramik sanatına taşıyan en önemli üreticiler arasında kabul edilmektedir.

Çini Project atölyesinde geleneksel çark çekim form üzerine yeniden uygulanan desen; Osmanlı çini sanatının zarif motif anlayışını çağdaş yüzey estetiğiyle buluşturmaktadır. Yüzeydeki renk geçişleri, çizgi netliği ve parlak sır etkisi; geleneksel çini sanatının teknik inceliğini güçlü biçimde hissettirmektedir.

Bu eser, İznik sanatının yalnızca Osmanlı coğrafyasında değil, dünya sanat tarihinde de bıraktığı etkinin zarif bir yansımasıdır.

Cantagalli Patterned Vase

This special work reinterprets the decorative world of the Cantagalli Workshop, a renowned Florentine ceramic atelier of the 19th century inspired by the artistic legacy of Iznik ceramics.

The original piece, now part of the Ömer Koç Collection, stands among the most significant examples reflecting the influence of Ottoman ceramic art on European decorative traditions. The Cantagalli Workshop is widely recognized for carrying the colors, ornamental rhythm and aesthetic richness of Iznik ceramics into European pottery production.

Reapplied by Çini Project onto a traditional hand-thrown ceramic form, the design unites the refined ornamental language of Ottoman ceramics with a contemporary surface aesthetic. The transitions between colors, the precision of the lines and the luminous glazed finish reveal the technical sophistication characteristic of traditional ceramic craftsmanship.

This piece offers an elegant reflection of the enduring impact Iznik art has had not only within the Ottoman world, but throughout the history of global decorative arts.
