Memlük Esintisi Kapaklı Kulplu Vazo

Memlük döneminin zengin bezeme anlayışından ilham alınarak hazırlanan bu kapaklı kulplu vazo, İslam sanatının güçlü geometrik düzenini ve ince bezeme geleneğini çini yüzeyinde yeniden yorumlamaktadır.

Eserin gövdesinde yer alan madalyon formu, birbirine bağlanan çizgisel düzen ve stilize bitkisel detaylarla bütünleşerek Memlük sanatının dengeli ve ritmik kompozisyon anlayışını yansıtır. Kobalt mavisinin çini beyazı üzerindeki zarif uyumu; yüzeyde hem derinlik hem de sakin bir hareket duygusu yaratır. İnce çizgi işçiligi ve tekrar eden motifler, dönemin mimari ve süsleme sanatında görülen estetik dili günümüzle buluşturur.

Kapaklı ve kulplu formu, esere hem işlevsel hem de heykelsi bir karakter kazandırırken; geleneksel sır altı boyama tekniğiyle uygulanan bezemeler çini sanatının zamansız zarafetini öne çıkarır.

Lidded Handled Vase

Inspired by the rich decorative tradition of the Mamluk period, this lidded handled vase reinterprets the refined geometry and ornamental language of Islamic art through the timeless surface of Turkish ceramic art.

The medallion composition on the body, combined with interconnected linear structures and stylized vegetal motifs, reflects the balanced and rhythmic visual language characteristic of Mamluk design. The elegant harmony of cobalt blue on a bright white surface creates both depth and a calm sense of movement. Fine linework and repeating motifs bring the aesthetic vocabulary of historic Mamluk architecture and ornamentation into a contemporary artistic form.

Its lidded and handled silhouette gives the piece both a functional and sculptural presence, while the traditional underglaze painting technique highlights the timeless elegance of ceramic craftsmanship.
